"Hi there! My name is Genesis and I’m currently an undergraduate biology student at the University of Alabama in Huntsville.

I’m very hands on. I have to be. It’s in my nature. When I was a kid, my grandma taught me how to sew. That, coupled with my parents buying me a sewing machine, was the reason I was able to start tailoring my dance costumes solely, before performances, at a very young age.

When I was bought that sewing machine, I started becoming interested in fabrics and creating my own clothing. As I became older, I grew into my fascination of all things style. Now, if I'm not creating something myself, I'm zeroed in to what people are wearing on TV, online, or in person."
